Zimbabwean President bounced after writing a letter requesting to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral

The whole World is mourning the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who passed away last week at her Balmoral Castle Home in Scotland. 

Following her death, a lot of condolence messages from around the world has been sent to the Buckingham Palace to commiserate with the bereaved family.

The queen is set to be buried on Monday September 19, 2022 and invitation to the burial has been sent out to some heads of state and Prominent people in the world.

In a sad but funny development, the President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa has been bounced by the Buckingham Palace after expressing his interest to attend the funeral of the longest serving monarch.

In a letter sighted on social media, the Palace revealed that they have accepted the President letter expressing his condolence in good faith but they are sorry to reject his request to be invited for the burial.

According to them, Zimbabwe has a confirmed report of having no regards to human rights and moreover, the country is not a member of the Commonwealth.

The letter continued that even though Zimbabwe has officially written to be part of the Commonwealth, that hasn’t been approved and hence they cannot be allowed attend the late Queen’s burial.
