A bold Nigerian man has been apprehended for allegedly establishing an academy where he recruits and instructs young boys on how to scam over the internet, often known as yahoo or sakawa.
The man, identified as Afolabi Samad, was arrested by the EFCC’s Abuja Zonal Command together with 16 trainees from his school, Yahoo Yahoo academy.
The sting operation was apparently carried out on Thursday, May 12, 2022, with 16 of his students.

According to Instablog9ja, the young people, aged 18 to 27, were apprehended at their hideout in Peace Court Estate, Lokogoma, an Abuja suburb.
An EFCC spokeswoman, Wilson Uwujaren, the accused Academy’s owner, rented the three-bedroom flat for N3 million to teach scamming to his apprentices for undisclosed fees.
Laptops, phones, charms, and two automobiles were discovered from the suspects: a Lexus RX350 and a Toyota Highlander.
