I’ll shave my hair if Blackstars fail to qualify pass the group stages – Agyemang Badu

Former Black Stars footballer Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has made a promise to shave his head of hair if Ghana gets eliminated from the 2022 World Cup group stage.

The former Ghana midfielder acknowledged the new Blackstars team while stating this during a live presentation on Tv3.

Agyemang Badu was so confident in the new Blackstars squad that he predicted they would easily advance past the round of 16.

“Gradually we are doing well with set pieces. We are not up there yet. Now that we have a good bench. I’m not too sure that this team will go down if they cannot qualify from the group. If it doesn’t happen I will shave all my hair.”

In order to advance to the knockout stages of the 2022 World Cup, Ghana must defeat Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.

“I can bet everything this team will qualify from the group. If Ghana doesn’t qualify from the group stage, I will shave it here. I am so optimistic about this team,” he added.

On November 24, the Black Stars’ World Cup campaign will get underway with a match against Portugal.

31-year-old When Ghana was eliminated in the group stages of the 2014 World Cup, Agyemang Badu was a member of the Blackstars team.
