Efia Odo has taken a swipe at the President of Ghana over his intention to build a Cathedral saying that she believes the National Cathedral is necessary.

She stated that no amount of prayers will be able to alleviate the flooding in Accra and other regions of the country.

In a Twitter tweet, she argued that the construction of the National Cathedral was not a wise decision.

Ghanaians voted for President Akufo-Addo to make better decisions, according to the outspoken socialite.

Efia Odo tweeted: “Mr. President, I don’t think building a national cathedral was a smart move. Every time it rains the country sinks. No amount of prayers and worship will solve it. We need proper structures. Ghanaians urge you to make better decisions. After all, they put you in power!”

A section of Ghanaians has spoken against the building of the Cathedral but the complains have fallen on deaf ears as the President and the board of Trustees of the Cathedral have failed to listen to the plea of the citizens.
