Due to his recent reckless social media outbursts, Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Michael Owusu Addo, better known as Sarkodie, has been the talk of the town.
Sarkodie described Ghanaians as poor in a recent tweet regarding Ghana’s much-debated Electronic Transaction Levy, which explains why they hate it.
The rapper responded to a fan’s message a few days ago when the fan advertised an Air Jordan 4 Retro Black Cat 2020 sneaker on Twitter for Ghc 300.00. According to his tweets, the ‘Coachella’ singer was upset with a fan who sold a low-quality Air Jordan 4 Retro Black Cat 2020 sneaker.

Following that, the rapper published photographs of the aforementioned legitimate sneakers and revealed their exact selling price of $1,000.00, as well as urged his followers to buy authentic things rather than ‘fake’ products.
Netizens and celebrities such as KalyJay, Kwadwo Sheldon, and Shatta Wale have all expressed their displeasure with his post.
Hajia Bintu, a well-known social media personality and entrepreneur, couldn’t afford to be left out of the discourse and has chimed in.
She blasted Sarkodie for his advise and commended Shatta Wale, a dancehall performer, in a recent tweet.
She posted: “There’s plenty of money nti Sark is talking by heart.” Shatta Wale will never encourage young people to spend their money on expensive items, but Sarkodie…hmmm.”
