With John Dumelo and his best friend, Fred Nuamah, the contest for the National Democratic Party, NDC Representative for the Ayawaso Wuogon Parliamentary Seat has caused a breach.
John Dumelo was given the go-ahead to run in the 2020 General Election on the National Democratic Congress, NDC, ticket.
Sadly, he was defeated by the NPP candidate. Following the election, John Dumelo relocated to the SALL constituency in the Volta Region to engage in farming and community life.

Many assumed he intended to run for a seat as a Member of Parliament in SALL Constituents based on his interactions with them.
The announcement of Dumelo that he will run for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Seat again in 2024, however, stunned everyone.
Fred Nuamah, Dumelo’s closest buddy, has made the decision to be Dumelo’s fiercest opponent in the primaries.
When questioned why he chose to run against his best buddy, he explained that John had told him about his plans to run at SALL, which is what prompted him to take his spot in Ayawaso West Wuogon.

Fred Nuamah is a liar, according to John Dumelo, who claimed this yesterday on United Showbiz. He continued by saying that he had never told Fred that he would not run for office in Ayawaso West Wuogon.
