Afia Schwarzenegger, a controversial radio and TV host, has spoken out about the alleged Ghc 500k contribution she received from Chief of Staff Madam Frema Opare for her late father’s funeral.
It will be remembered that Afia, in a video thanking everyone who helped make her father’s burial a success, declared clearly that the Chief of Staff handed her Ghc 500,000 with the promise of more if she incurred debts after the burial.
Following her remarks, some Ghanaians chastised the Chief of Staff and the Akuffo Addo government for spending taxpayers’ money on funerals when there are more critical concerns to address.

Because of Afia Schwarzenegger’s statements, some organizations put pressure on the Chief of Staff to quit.
In a video, the controversial host admitted that she never received any money from the Chief of Staff, as she had previously alleged.
She claimed she was only saying that to jolt the Mad’s conscience. Frema Opare did not show up for her father’s funeral or even give a contribution.

Afia said that she joined the Frema Opare to mourn and bury a relative, and that she even gave there, so she expected a similar response from her.
