After switching to Onua TV, an old video of Nana Ama McBrown declaring her unwavering loyalty to UTV and Notwithstanding Media has surfaced online.
On Monday, March 13, 2023, McBrown, the host of UTV’s United Showbiz, was introduced as a new presenter for Media General’s Onua TV.
The award-winning actress, who had been absent from United Showbiz since the beginning of 2023, had been the subject of numerous rumours before her declaration on Monday.

Many people had not expected the actress to move to Onua TV, thus it was a major surprise to find her there.
In addition to having worked as a broadcaster for UTV for a long time, McBrown is renowned for his excellent rapport with Osei Kwame Despite, the CEO of Despite Media.
A video that suggested McBrown might not have foreseen her relocation has resurfaced as Ghanaians grapple with her move.

McBrown was heard saying the following on the video, which was taken from one of the earlier episodes of United Showbiz:
“UTV is my home. Never say never but I have nowhere to go,” she said.
