Despite it being the dream of artists to win the Grammy, Ghanaian musician Fameye is not worried about that and is rather worried about grabbing a Ghana Music Award plaque.
According to the musician, at the start of his musical career, he had always dreamt of one day winning a Grammy award just like his colleagues in the industry but he has now realised it was a mistake.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo, he mentioned that he came to the realisation that the Ghana Music Awards is far better than the Grammys.

He went on to say he saw the Grammy as the biggest achievement in a musician’s career because that is what people have been saying about the Grammy award and that influenced his decision to choose them over the Ghana Music Awards.
He urged that going forward Ghanaians should patronize and hype the Ghana Music Awards rather than talk about winning a Grammy which belongs to someone else.
