Nana Ama McBrown, the host of United Showbiz, explained in May this year that she had not been fired from United Television (UTV), as some blogs had claimed.

She clarified that her absence from her show had nothing to do with dismissal and advised fans to disregard such rumors, including one claiming she had given birth to twins.

“I have not been sacked, no! I have not been sacked. We are family. UTV is home, they are family. I have not been sacked, no, no. I won’t say I can’t be sacked, who am I? It is a home, my family,” she stated in a video published on her YouTube channel.

On June 21, a media team paid a visit to the actress and presenter to see how she was doing and to offer prayers for her “fast recovery.” This confirmed that she was on medical leave.

A member of the delegation praised God for Nana Ama’s life and begged for her full recovery so she can return to hosting her show after months away.
