A.B. Crentsil, a legendary performer of highlife music, passed away on July 13, 2022, at the age of 79.
Little has been reported about the true reason of his death since these reports were made.
However, one of his sons, A.B. Crentsil Junior, revealed some information regarding the circumstances surrounding his death in an interview with Zionfelix.

He claims that in June 2022, as he was getting ready to leave the country, the composer of “Moses” fell at the airport.
A.B. Crentsil Junior claimed that after being treated at the hospital, staff members hurriedly transported him to a private facility outside Kotoka International Airport.
He ultimately came back to life at the hospital, where he was in a coma for nearly two weeks.
Even though he was awake, he was not as powerful as he had been when they had taken him to the hospital on July 13, 2022, due to his blood pressure problems.

On November 5, 2022, A.B. Crentsil will be laid to rest in his hometown of Ewoyaa, which is close to Saltpond in the Central Region.
