Medikal clears rumor of being denied visa at the U.S embassy

Rapper Medikal from Ghana has denied reports that he was turned down for a visa to the United States in 2022 because of posting pictures of a gun on social media.

The singer expressed his displeasure about websites that utilized the news to malign him in a video that was posted on UTV’s Instagram page.

“I was never refused the visa. Some of these things, you just let it happen, then you let them see you in America. They will see you acting gentle and having fun. That’s damage control. Sometimes you don’t have to talk.

“People in Ghana, it’s unfortunate that some of the bloggers, big names like Pulse Ghana, I respect them so much so sometimes when they bring out some news like that I just feel but why would such a big blog bring something like that?” he said.

According to a source, the artist was rejected on June 21, 2022, following an interview he had for a conviction-related gun-brandishing incident at the US Embassy in Accra.

According to reports, Armani, an co-artist on the AMG Business label, was also rejected.
