Gregory Bortey Newman, a renowned musician and performer from Ghana who goes by the stage name King Promise, has spoken candidly about his relationship with Wizkid.
In a recent interview with Hitz 103.9FM, the star of Legacy Life Entertainment, King Promise, clarified his relationship with Wizkid, the most popular and well-known musician from Nigeria.
This follows the CCTV hitmaker’s failure to appear at Wizkid’s debut headlining performance in Accra, where the star of Starboy Entertainment was also absent.

The “CCTV hit-maker” claims that Big Wiz is not his employer and that he and Wizkid are simply buddies.
He also responded to inquiries regarding his allegiance to Ghana, saying that he has always been happy to represent the country, highlighting interactions with his followers and how much it meant to him.
