It has now been reported that former Black Stars International Christian Atsu has been found but no more part of the living.
This was revealed by Turkish football agent Murat Uzunmehmet, who also handles players right in Turkey.
At about 5am today February 18, 2023, he announce the sad news on his official Twitter handle.

The Ghanaian was among those reported missing after the catastrophic earthquake that hit Syria and Turkey.
Age-wise, he was 31. Atsu leaves behind his wife and three children.
Peace be upon him. Following an earthquake in Turkey on February 6th, 2023, Atsu went missing.
The former midfielder for Newcastle and Chelsea, who is currently playing for Hatayspor in Turkey, was affected by the earthquake.
Despite initial reports that he had been located, Atsu was still unaccounted for until today, when the terrible news of his passing was revealed.
