American rapper and businessman Shawn Corey Carter known in showbiz as JAY Z is said to be the owner of some properties in Ghana.
This was revealed by Dave Chappelle an American comedian who stated that he has even seen photos of the properties on the phone of JAY Z.
According to him during an event at the University of Ghana, he met with the rapper few days before his trip to Ghana and told him he was heading to Ghana for a programme.

JAY Z in reacting to the news replied that he knows the country very well and even has some properties in the country and went ahead to show him photos as proof.
His revelation about JAY Z owning properties in Ghana comes as a shock to many since officially was in 2006 for a performance.
Since then no information is known about him returning to the country for anything.
Some years ago, it was rumoured that Beyonce was in the country for Christmas holidays. Days later it was her mum who was seen in public without the singer.
