Rose Mensah, also known as Akua Atta Kyeiwaa, claims that if she lived in Ghana, she would not be alive today.
She spoke from her current base in the United States of America about how underpaid she was when she was a great star in Ghana’s film business.
Despite being a great star, Kyeiwaa claims her pay was so low that she was barely surviving.

To make matters worse, she was dropped by movie producers in the height of her acting career.
According to her, she had been without acting opportunities for approximately 5 years and had to keep her head down until God’s grace transported her to America.
Even after she moved to America, some members of the film industry continued to hate her, according to the acclaimed actress.

When they visit Kyeiwaa in America and have the opportunity to snap photos with her, they return to Ghana to tell her that “Kyeiwaa sells Banku in America.”

With this attitude, she has ceased hosting visitors from Ghana, pretending to be busy whenever they call to say they are in America.
