After being criticized by Ghanaians for being a bitter person for declining to attend Tracey Boakye‘s wedding, singer Mzbel finally spoke up on the couple’s marriage.
Additionally, they failed to congratulate her online after the colorful and well-publicized wedding ceremony, unlike her fellow celebs who did.
Mzbel claims she didn’t go to Tracey Boakye’s wedding because she didn’t receive an invitation to the strictly invitation-only affair.

If Tracey Boakye had wanted her to attend her wedding, she would have extended an invitation; however, because she didn’t, she made the decision to mind her own business.
The “16 Years” singer went on to say that despite her admiration for Tracey Boakye, she has no animosity or resentment for her.
Speaking about how she met Tracey Boakye, Mzbel insisted that they were not close friends as the majority of Ghanaians thought.
They only met at an NDC event, when they exchanged pleasantries because they both support the same political party.

They later became friends, though not necessarily close friends as some online commenters have claimed.
