I had no invitation to Criss Waddle’s event – King Promise

Gregory Bortey Newman, better known by his stage name, King Promise has reacted quickly to Criss Waddle’s claim that he skipped his gig.

On the same day as Songstress Gyakie over the weekend, Criss Waddle and Medikal performed at a once-yearly concert. King Promise attended Gyakie’s performance, albeit it wasn’t as anticipated as Waddle’s.

In contrast, Criss Waddle asserted in his outburst that he had confirmation that Promise would attend the performance.

Waddle claims that before this, he paid Ohene Farouk, King Promise’s manager, to promote his talent.

He paid the amount required, but neither his wish nor a return were granted.

King Promise, however, claimed that he was never invited to the Criss Waddle event in an interview that aired tonight on Hitz FM.

He stated: “I wasn’t given a ticket to see Criss Waddle perform. Even if I was, I already had plans. But I am glad things went well because I heard it went well.
