Building hospitals is far better than a National Cathedral – Jesus Ahoufe

Bishop Stephen Akwasi Appiah, better known by his many as Jesus Ahuofe, the founder of New Life Kingdom Chapel, has declared that he would place building hospitals ahead of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo‘s plan to build the National Cathedral.

Speaking on CTV’s morning program Edika on Friday, January 13, 2022, Jesus Ahuofe emphasized that since all the churches in the country have sites where they gather, building hospitals for the Ghanaian people is more crucial than building a National Cathedral.

The La hospital has been destroyed, so people don’t have anywhere to go when they’re ill, he explained to the show’s host Nana Otu Darko.

“Let’s utilize half of that money to acquire a new one,” Bishop Appiah concluded. A hospital is 100 times more significant than a church. I say this because there are churches for everyone in Ghana.

“Agyin Asare has a church auditorium called Perez Chapel that is so large that it can be used for programs.

Action Chapel also has a church auditorium called Winners Chapel. Let’s utilize half of that money for a hospital,” he offered.

Why wasn’t a large hospital like an African-renowned cardio thoracic center built with the funds?, he further questioned.
