On November 25, 1984, Yvonne Okoro was born in Tamale, Ghana, in West Africa. This year, she turns forty years old.

She is her mother’s first kid. Her mother is from Ghana, while her father is an Igbo man from Nigeria.

Following her attendance at Achimota Preparatory School, Yvonne Okoro attended Lincoln Community School and Faith Montessori School.

She made a brief appearance in Theo Akatugba’s popular television series Tentacles for Point Blank Media Concepts in 2002.

Yvonne Okoro starred in the Frank Rajah Arase film “Agony of Christ” (2008), which also starred Majid Michel, Nadia Buari, Kofi Arjorlolo, Prince David Ossei, and others.

She portrayed Baaba Adams Smith in the Ghanaian film series “Adams Apples” from 2011 to 2012, costarring with a number of notable actors and actresses, including John Dumelo, Joselyn Dumas, Roselyn Ngissah, and Fred Kanebi.

She portrayed Rebecca in the major role in the Ghanaian-Nigerian film “Rebecca” (2016), which starred Joseph Benjamin and was directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso.

Yvonne Okoro received the Glitz Africa Style Influencer of the Year award at the Glitz Style Awards’ fifth edition in 2019.

A company named “Desamour Company Limited” and many transportation companies are also owned by Yvonne Okoro. She informed Peace FM, a radio station based in Accra.
