Controversial Afia Schwarzenegger has been fined by the court after finding her guilty of contempt.
The socialite who received a 10-day prison sentence for contempt while she was away last year made the decision to appeal the punishment.
She begged the judge to spare her, and she argued against the prison penalty, especially since other guilty parties, such as Kwame Aplus, Mr. Logic, and Nana Ama McBrown, only received a GH60,000 fine and no prison time.

Today, when the case was eventually heard, the court agreed to Afia Schwarzenegger’s request to have the prison sentence reduced to a fine.
She received a GH 60,000 fine from the Tema Circuit Court today, which she was able to pay.
