Baba Rahman, a 26-year-old Ghanaian high school graduate, claims that selling coconut on the streets earns him up to GHC7,000 per month.

When asked if he would contemplate working in an office for GHC1,000 or GHC2,000, Baba said that the money he is getting from his business will prevent him from ever making such a mistake.

At the end of each month, he said that no office job in Ghana could pay him more than 10,000 cedis, but his coconut business gave him more than GHC7k.

In his own words;

“Sometimes I can sell 200 pieces of coconuts in a day and even if I sell it GH¢4 I will get GH¢800 just a day. I can make profit of G¢300 within a day so within a month I can make not less than GH¢7,000 from my coconut business,” the gentleman further disclosed“
