A movie series based on the life of infamous Nigerian online fraudster Hushpuppi is set to be released by American rapper and film producer 50 Cent.

Prior to his arrest in Dubai in June 2020, Ramon Abass, better known by his stage name Hushpuppi, was a well-known con artist.

Hushpuppi gained fortune for himself during his prime by defrauding almost 1.9 million people, the majority of them were Americans.

Hushpuppi was found guilty of laundering proceeds from a school finance scam, business email hack, and other fraudulent cyber scams on Monday and was given an 11 years and three months term by a United States District Court sitting in the Central District of California.

On Instagram, 50 Cent posted images of Hushpuppi and announced plans to make a motion picture based on his life.

He indicated that he was producing the movie for the scammers.

“For my scammers, I gotta do this one. Hushpuppi series coming soon! GLG, Green Light Gang I don’t miss. #Bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #gunitfilmandtv,” the G-Unit Records founder wrote in the caption.
