One of African’s most decorated Rapper Sarkodie has told the story of how his love life with his wife Tracey Sarkcess started some years ago.
In a recent interview, he stated that he knew Tracey when he was younger, but she moved to Germany and stayed for a long period.
When Tracy returned to Ghana, she hung out with the neighborhood’s big boys while he was hustling from studio to studio in the early days of his music career.

Tracy was with the big boys one day when she noticed him and commented, “Oh that’s Michael, you look grown.”
According to Sarkodie, he took it as an insult and became hostile, using profanity to ask her whether she knew his age.
Tracy understood he was upset even though she had not intended to disrespect him, so she decided to apologize.

Sarkodie claims that the apology marked the beginning of their love story, which has resulted in a marriage with two children, a boy and a girl.
