Young rapper Yaw Tog, born Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, has encouraged aspiring musicians to be spiritually strengthened before venturing into music.
He revealed that there is much more to the music scene than meets the eye, and that only spiritual fortification can ensure one’s lengthy survival.
The rapper, who shot to fame with his song “Sore,” revealed this while discussing his defeat earlier this year.

“I Feel like advising the young ones wishing to do music in the near future please be strong in the spiritual world too. i got defeated early this year but I’m back again and be beware of fake friends. please”, he stated.
Yaw Tog has won three Music Awards in his brief career, including Viral Song of the Year and Hiphop Song of the Year for 2021, as well as Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Best New Artiste for 2021.
Yaw Tog has performed on a number of major stages both in and outside of Ghana.
