The most pricey artist to book in Ghana is arguably Shatta Wale, who has already discussed his show fees.
Shatta Wale revealed that he is the only artist in Ghana who charges $1,000,000 for a performance in a recent interview.
He claims that because he understands the music industry’s business model, he has benefited by raising his prices above those of his contemporaries and rivals.
“I am the first artist in Ghana to charge $100,000 for a show,” he told Giovanni Caleb on TV3 when he was pushed to talk about how much he makes.
Additionally, Shatta Wale said that on occasion he will accept payment for performances even when he does not appear because of contract violations.
The SM president implied that he paid $120,000 for the Wildaland Show but did not attend. Additionally, he received $100,000 for the Cardi B concert in Ghana but never showed up.

Shatta Wale has insisted that he is still the musician that set the standard when it came to performers accepting “big money” to play at events, despite the fact that he has not been scheduled for events like Afronation, Afrochella, or even the Global Citizen festival.
