Ghanaian gospel singer, Sonnie Badu has weighed in on the trending topic of who can potentially fill up the Accra sports stadium.

According to him, no one else in the field has yet managed to top his performance at the Accra Sports stadium.

Sonnie Badu, a Ghanaian gospel musician based in the UK, released a throwback video of his first significant performance in Ghana, which took place at the same venue, amid the Wizkid-Accra Sports Stadium discussion, which has generated interesting discussion across Africa.

Sonnie Badu posted on his Instagram, saying;

“ACCRA SPORTS STADIUM was one of my most emotional concerts ever… It RAINED throughout the entire concert, but no one was willing to leave… The crowd pushed and took over the concert… One day we will break our own records again”

Sonnie Badu said, “lol even if I never do again, the record is still yet to be broken, let’s learn to respect hard effort.. don’t worry I will do it again” in response to a fan who thought he was chasing fame for uploading his video amid the Wizkid scandal.
